NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Within a few hours of its release on digital platforms, the trailer of the upcoming Punjabi movie ‘25 Kille’ is trending in a big way on social media. Netizens are lapping up the trailer of the movie about love of Jatts for their land, which is told in a fully entertainment packed powerful story. The trends coming in on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook point towards comments galore and all seem to suggest that the trailer is being well received by the fans.
“We launched the trailer on 21st July on digital platforms and within 24 hours, it generated impressive likes. It’s trending well,” said Sumeet Singh, MD, Unisys Infosolutions-Saga Music, the company which is co-producing the film and also looking after its marketing & distribution.
One reason for a good response on social media is that after a long gap- 16 years to be precise, two stalwarts of Punjabi Cinema — Guggu Gill & Yograj Singh are coming together on screen. Social media enthusiasts are feeling curious about this and are viewing the trailer on the internet.
The film has in its impressive star cast Ranjha Vikram Singh who is playing the lead role in 25 Kille. Ranjha is a versatile actor who has done movies in Tollywood and Bollywood. The most recent Bollywood role of his was of a Romantic Bad Guy in Hero Panti, “The suave & dynamic actor has already carved out a niche for himself in Bollywood & will not just be acting in 25 Kille but will also turn Producer through the movie. One reason why youngsters are latching on to the trailer on social media is the presence of this charismatic & well built actor in the film.” Said An Industry watcher.
The name of the movie too is ringing a bell in Punjabis’ minds. People who are regulars on social media are quite excited to see a film whose name is based on a ‘Land size’. Punjabis as a community has land very close to their hearts, this is hooking a lot of them to the trailer of 25 Kille.” Said a Social Media Analyst.

Actresses like the ravishing Sonia Mann, who has done roles in Bollywood & Tollywood, Sapna Bassi, Sandeep Kaur & Actors like Lakhwinder Singh(Lakha), Jimmy Sharma et al have also been instrumental in generating a positive response of social media for the film’s trailer.
Going by the way the trailer is going viral on social networking sites; the makers of the movie – Running Horses Films & Color9 Productions are expecting a good box office performance.
