–          GADKARI TO LAY FOUNDATION STONE OF ZIRAKPUR-PATIALA-BATHINDA FOUR LANE ROAD ON JAN 22

–          ALL SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS WOULD BE MADE, DR GARG

NewZNew (Bathinda) : The Bathinda district administration has made all the arrangements pertaining to the visit of Union Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Mr Nitin Gadkari. To review the arrangements the deputy commissioner Dr Basant Garg conducted meeting with the SSP Mr Inder Mohan Singh Bhatti and other district officials.

The Deputy Commissioner said that on Jan 22 the Union Minister Mr Nitin Gadkari would lay foundation stone of the four laning project of Zirakpur-Patiala-Bathinda. The Chief Minister Punjab mr Parkash Singh Badal and the deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal would also be especially present at the event. Dr Garg said that the ceremony for laying foundation stone would be conducted at the Multipurpose Stadium Bathinda. Passing instructions to the concerned departments he said that all arrangements should be upto mark. He directed that drinking water facility and temporary toilets should be erected for the general public.

Dr Garg directed the health department to depute medical teams at the spot that can provide medical care in wake of any exigency. He added that proper security arrangements too are being made for the event. In order to ensure that the public does not face any kind of harassment, separate parking lots and traffic routes would be crafted out. A review meeting has been convened at the Multipurpose Stadium on January 21 for which the duties have been designated.
