NEET 2017 result is finally OUT NOW. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) finally declared NEET result for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test held on 7th May 2017. The students can head towards the official website cbseresults.nic.in to check NEET results.
Update: AIR1 Navdeep Singh from Punjab is the topper of NEET 2017. He has obtained 99.999908 percentile score.
Majority of Top 10 ranks have been grabbed by Punjab students. Top 10 list features 3 students of Punjab, 2 students of Madhya Pradesh, while Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh have 1 student each in the list.
Top 25 list got maximum representation (3 students) from Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala each. Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Telangana and Delhi have 2 students each in the top 25 students list. Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar and Rajasthan have 1 student each in the list.

Bearing in mind the fortune of about 12 lakh students ( around 10.5 lakh giving exam in either Hindi or English and around 1.25 lakh to 1.5 lakh appearing in eight vernacular languages) and prayer raised by CBSE to release the NEET 2017 results on time, the apex court put a stay on interim order of 24 May passed by Madurai Bench of Madras High Court which had restrained the CBSE from declaration of the results of NEET 2017 for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses by saying “High Courts shouldn’t have interfered as it affects the schedule of the admission”.

Petitioners (medical aspirants) alleged before the High Court that uniform question paper was not distributed in the examination, following with discrepancy in question papers for Tamil and English medium students. Consequently the High Court had ordered interim stay on the publication of NEET results.

They have even sent representations to CBSE regarding this titled as “Finding a solution to equalize the scores if required of various papers of NEET UG 2017, so that it is not re-conducted and the results be declared expeditiously”.

Additional solicitor general Maninder Singh sought a pressing hearing on the CBSE’s appeal before a Supreme Court bench. He said that a delay in declaring the NEET results would create anxiety among a vast section of the medical aspirants. Mr. Singh also argued that though questions were different but the level of difficulty cannot be said to be different as they were already examined by the experts.
