NewZNew (Chandigarh) : CRB Public School Sector 7B, Chandigarh organized a Inter House Rangoli Contest on the occasion of Diwali to expose the hidden talent of the students. Total 150 students of classes 5th to 8th participated in the competition. Students made beautiful rangolis. The zealous participants etched out awe- inspiring creative designs like peacock, flowers, computerized designs and so on.
Students exhibited their flair in the art by making beautiful Rangoli designs using geometric shapes, deity impressions and floral motifs. Rangoli colours, flower petals and diyas were used to decorate the Rangolis. It was very difficult for the judges to choose the best rangoli designs of the participants. Rangoli winners are Pankaj, Tanvi, Somesh, Pawan and Shruti.
The principal of the school, Mrs. Sangeeta Mittal encouraged the students for putting in efforts to keep this cultural and traditional art form alive. She further added that it was an endeavor to implement holistic training methodologies for overall development of its students.
At the end the Director Mr. Naveen Mittal congratulated the students and honored the winners.
