NewZNew (Chandigarh) : The day centred on kids at DLF City Centre Mall in IT Park, Chandigarh’s popular shopping cum entertainment destination & tri-city’s only Premium Outlet Mall. A colourful and peppy Fashion Show was organized as part of the Mall’s ‘Shop Brilliantly’ bonanza, which is on till November 30.This was the ‘Most Fashionable Boy and Girl Contest’ and proud parents – dressed up their children who walked the ramp with aplomb to show that they were the style champions in the fashion arena.
Children sashayed confidently down the ramp, show casing latest in store, collections of Gini & Jony, Mothercare, Kapkids, Optique brands of kids’ apparels and accessories, from the swank lifestyle outlets housed in the DLF City Centre. The young models put their best foot forward to impress the judges with their trendy attire and actions as the proud parents looked on. The judges were Ms Disha Luthra, Former Gladrags Mrs India(Punjab) 1st Runner Up 2012, Mr. Lovely, a Professional Lifestyle & Fashion Photographer and Mrs Caroline Dangwal, Mall Manager, DLF City Centre. The fashion savvy kids proved that ramp walks were Child’s play for them. The Fashion Show saw participation of nearly 50 boys and girls in two age groups – 4 – 7 years and 8- 13 years. The high point came when the winners of the ‘Most Fashionable Boy & Girl Contest’ were declared in both categories. The kids were judged on aspects like confidence/attitude and speaking prowess.
