NewZNew (Panchkula) : Doon Public School celebrated the 69th Independence Day. Brig. Kiran Krishan, SM, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The Flag Hoisting ceremony ignited the spark of patriotism in each & every one present. The crescendo of the patriotic fervor was set up by the Welcome Song & Dance ‘Vande Mataram’. There were many performances given by the students to make it a memorable day for all. The highlight of the program was the vision visualised by the YOUNGISTAN OF INDIA wherein they put forth a hard-hitting question-“Is the India of Today Better than Yesterday?”
The Chief Guest, Brig. Kiran Krishan, SM was all praise for the Principal, members of the staff and the students. He encouraged students to adopt the three D’s in life – Discipline, Dedication & Determination & what better way than to join the Armed forces.
