NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Pihu Gupta is an ordinary student from an ordinary upper middle class family but an extraordinary film maker, Pihu’s dream is to transform the world through her passion for visual storytelling. Having received multiple admissions and scholarship offers to some fantastic film schools, she is on her way to Arizona State University with $9,000 in scholarship, renewable every year for all four years. She is one of the 16 students from the region, most of them from the tricity who have brought laurels by making it to the top universities of the world. The students, hailing from different backgrounds have also bagged prestigious scholarships.

The students were felicitated at the annual jubilation event of eduVelocity at The Hyatt here today. While speaking on the occasion Punita Vadhera Head, EV Chandigarh & Director, Admissions & Counselling said, “From engineering and computer science, to astrophysics, to film making, architecture, healthcare administration, psychology, actuarial science, and international relations. Our class of 2016 includes undergraduate and postgraduate students with an amazing diversity of program interests and backgrounds, personalities and personal aspirations about shaping global careers for themselves. Yet what they share in common, today, are admissions offers to overseas universities that fit their dreams about tomorrow. They are on their way to making Chandigarh a familiar name at some of the best campuses and, eventually, companies, in the United States and around the world. For us at eduVelocity, there’s truly no better reason for jubilation.”

Vinu Warrier Managing Partner & Founder, said, “Our students come from every academic and personal background imaginable. We are not “agents” paid by universities or a “higher education fair” company, or an “immigration agency”, or a “coaching center” for such tests as SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, or TOEFL. Our only commitment is to our individual students and families. And, we ensure a 100 percent success rate in preparing them for admissions with scholarships to the world’s best universities across the U.S., Canada, U.K., Europe, Singapore, Australia, and beyond, by integrating a variety of services including psychometric testing; academic, aptitude and career counseling both for India and overseas; life skills development; stream selection; program selection; profile development; long-term mentoring; and one-on-one, personalized assistance with every step of the application process.

This year alone… every single student who has applied through us year has received admissions offers and merit-based scholarship offers totaling more than $636,000. From such highly ranked universities in the U.S. and Canada as the University of Wisconsin, Madison; the University of Washington in Saint Louis; the University of Texas, Austin; the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, and McGill University, to the University of New South Wales in Australia, to TU Delft in the Netherlands, our students have been offered admission by around 45 world-class universities.
