newznew (Chandigarh) : This day is a remarkable day for all the contestants who made up to the grand finale round of this beauty pageant, Ms Plus Size North India 2017. This day for all the ladies is undoubtedly a day full of joy, excitement as well as nervousness.
The entire event is being organized by the Daksha Digitas Owned by Binod Kumar and Hardeep Arora Innovater Owned by Hardeep Arora. The Pageant invited all the plus size ladies from various cities to discover that they are not only beautiful but the world is their own stage even if they are plus in size. This platform helped all those girls for whom such pageants are a distant dream and they would get a full hand experience to explore and learn.
The auditions were conducted in cities like Delhi, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Chandigarh. After conducting the auditions successfully, 40 candidates were selected for the grand finale which was held in Hotel Bella Vista, Panchkula on 12th May.
The jury who judged the grand finale comprised of Bishamber Das (The first British-Asian plus size model who has also been an EBay model and ambassador, Brand Ambassador of Ms Plus Size North India 2017) Aman Grewal (Winner of Mrs India Worldwide 2014), Mahreen Kaleka (Punjabi actress) and Aman Dhaliwal (Actor).
Vernika Jain who won this beauty pageant added, “Today, I am so happy bagging the title of Ms Plus Size North India 2017 Beauty Pageant. I am short of words to express this feeling and this wouldn’t have been possible without The Organizing team and Model Bishamber Das who is inspiration for all of us throughout the event. They all were so cooperative all throughout. Everything was so transparent and I am very thankful to all the judges as well. This pageant was honestly a very enriching experience for us, we got to know so many new things and now, once I step out from here I have evolved into a different personality altogether.”
1st Runner-up tittle was won by Akanksha and 2nd Runner-up tittle was won by Avneet. The owner of The Diet Xperts Simrat Kathuria was also gracing the occassion and the contestant’s outfits were designed by Kriss Designers.
