NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Khadi Gramodyog Exhibition was inaugurated by Sh. K.K. Sharda, Chairman of Khadi Sewa Sangh at Gandhi Smarak Bhawan, Sector 16-A, Chandigarh. Many Khadi Institution’s stalls of Punjab & Haryana are held here. Sh. K.K. Sharda said that every family should buy Khadi at least of 100 rupees. He also thanked to The Honorable Prime Minister, Narendr Modi for promoting Khadi. He appealed P.M. Modi that in government sectors especially in Railways and Government Schools should compulsory Khadi at least once in a week.
Sh. Devraj Tyagi Director of Gandhi Smarak Bhawan said that we have to promote Khadi and Gramodyog. Every year Khadi Exhibition is held at Gandhi Smarak Bhawan, Sector 16-A, Chandigarh.
There are many Khadi and Gramodyod items in the exhibition such as Kurta-Payjama, Shirt poly, Kurta poly, Blankets, Shawls, and Jackets etc. These are available at very reasonable prices with 20 percent discount.
On this occasion many workers of Khadi Institutions and Ravi Shankar Dube, Manager BKGS North Zone, Dharambeer Sharma, Hari Ram, Pragya Sharda, Kanshi Ram, J.D. Cheema, Reena Parveen, Papia Chakraborty, Anand Rao etc. were present.
