Lions Club Chandigarh Host celebrated Children’s Day at Lions Bhawan Sector-18 Chandigarh. MJF Lion Anand Sawhney Distt Governor was the Chief Guest and MJF Lion K K Sawhney was the Guest of Honor. Students of EPIC Dance Academy Chandigarh under the Guidance of Ms Chanderkala gave a colour full performance of Classical, Semi Classical, Kathak-fusion, Bollywood and Folk Dance. Lion Lalit Bajaj President Lions Club Chandigarh Host highlighted the activities of the Club, Club Donated a sum of Rs 5100 to a widow lady and also donated a seeing machine to a needy.
Earlier in the Day on the occasion of World Diabetes Day Lions Club Chandigarh Host in association with Canara Bank and Appolo Munich organized a general Health Check up camp by a team of doctors from Mukat Hospital Chandigarh at Rajiv Vihar where members of Lions Club and residents of Rajiv Vihar and others participated in large number. On behalf of Canara Bank Sh Sushant Kumar Sr Manager Manimajra Branch honoured Lion Lalit Bajaj President Lions Club for his distinguished Social services for the cause of society Col Narinder Singh President of the society thanked Lions Club and Canara Bank for health check up camp. Further on World Diabetes Day the club also participated in a rally for awareness of diabetes at Plaza, Sector-17 Chandigarh in the day.
