newznew (Chandigarh) : MP PPT 2017 exam is being conducted today for admission to over 28 thousand seats in polytechnic colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Over/under 70-80 thousand candidates apply for the polytechnic entrance in the state and less than 50 thousand actually sit for the test, previous years’ data suggests.
MP PPT answer key for 18 June 2017 exam will be released by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (PEB or VYAPAM). The Pre-Polytechnic Test (MP PPT) 2017 being conducted by MPPEB today for merit-based admission to Diploma courses offered by Polytechnic Colleges of the State. PEB had earlier scheduled the PPT exam for 10th June and even the admit cards were issued on June 1. Later, the Board revised the exam date to 18th June. The exam is organised in three shifts starting from 9 am, 12 noon and 3 pm respectively. Test venues were set up in 18 cities across the State.
MP PPT was conducted as a single paper having 150 multiple choice questions. The questions were distributed equally among three subjects; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each question carried 1 mark, hence the maximum marks in the test comes as 150. MPPEB publishes MP PPT 2017 answer key after the conclusion of the exam, as it had done in the previous years. The official answer key of polytechnic entrance test is expected to be released within next three days.
After the publication of MP PPT answer key and model answers, the candidates will be given the facility to submit the objections against the answers. The experts panel will review the submitted objections and the final answer key will be prepared accordingly. MP PPT 2017 answer key will be published at the official website www.vyapam.nic.in. The candidates can also estimate their performance and the marks with the help of answer keys.
The result of MP PPT 2017 exam will be prepared on the basis of final answer keys and the same will be made available on the official website. Expectedly, the PPT result will be announced within one month of the exam date.
Based on the performance in the Polytechnic entrance test, the candidates will be assigned ranks. The candidates are required to score minimum qualifying marks (cut-off marks) in the entrance test in order to get ranks. The admission process in Polytechnic Colleges will be carried out by the Directorate of Technical Education on the basis of MP PPT 2017.
