Mumbai University Results for the under graduate courses are expected to be released today July 31, 2017 at the official website. It is important for the aspirants to note that they would be able to check the results for over 300 courses at the official website mu.ac.in. The results of Mumbai University have been delayed. In view of this, the Vice Chancellor Sanjay Deshmukh resigned from the post. Mr. Sanjay Deshmukh had earlier assured the Governor and Chancellor of the varsity Vidyasagar Rao that they would be able to declare the results by July 31. Mumbai University had recently implemented the new assessment system for checking the answer scripts. Earlier the results of Mumbai University were declared in the month of May-June.

For checking the Mumbai University 2017 Results, the students who had appeared  for the under graduate exam will be required to login to the official website and enter the required details such as roll number, registration number and date of birth. The students would need to enter the required details as mentioned on the admit card. After which they would need to take print out of the results. The print out of marks can be used for future reference for seeking admissions to other course or for employment purposes.

Earlier the governor of Maharashtra had asked the vice-chancellor to motivate teachers to achieve the timely declaration of results.  As per reports, approximately 4.4 lakh answer sheets are yet to be evaluated and around 17 lakh students are waiting for the results eagerly.  The delay has left the future of the students in doldrums. The students who are planning to seek admissions to courses abroad have been unable to complete the admission formalities. The University of Mumbai  is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India.

The Mumbai University has  been accorded 5 star status in 2001 & ‘A’ grade status in April 2012 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university has also been granted University with Potential for Excellence (UPE) status by UGC and PURSE Scheme by DST. The students who wish to join Mumbai University should also note that the University of Mumbai offers several courses which include Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral courses, as well as diplomas and certificates in many disciplines.
