NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Oakridge International School students participated in the All India Table Soccer Championship in the different age categories and made a clean sweep of medals 12 gold medals, 11 silver and 3 bronze medals. In these championship more than 50 schools and 100 students of the tricity participated. It was immensely difficult for children perform due to tough competition. It was a proud moment 26 students achieved the honour.

While giving information Principal, Oakridge School Ramanjit Ghuman said that such recreational opportunities for children to learn and play a sport and imbibe the essential skills, fitness, technical and mental fortitude along with the satisfaction of participation.  She further added even nowadays Parents are hesitant for their kids to adopt sports as their career ,but it is need of the time to choose sports as a career  which is helpful for not only holistic development but also for wonderful career. Later,Principal Ghuman honoured winners.
