In gross negligence at a Mumbai hospital, an eye of 27-year old comatose patient was chewed away by rats at Bal Thackeray Trauma Care Hospital in Jogeshwari.

The Patient’s father exposed the matter after he noticed that his son’s  right eyelid was bitten. He said that he also spotted blood in the eye. The father also alleged that he saw rats roaming in th ward before.
