NewZNew (Chandigarh) : South Korea’s Ambassador Mr. Joon Gyu Lee called on Finance Minister Mr. Parminder Singh Dhindsa and discussed strengthening the trade relations between Punjab and South Korea. The Korean delegation was represented by Ambassador Mr. Lee besides key members of several Korean companies.
While interacting with the Korean delegation, Mr.Parminder Singh Dhindsa described how Punjab is proving most favorable investment destination with its pro-business atmosphere, transparent and farsighted policies. He said that Punjab government would welcome the latest technology from South Korea for Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Automobile, IT and Consumer electronics sector projects. He also enlisted the support of South Korea for development of smart cities in the state.
The Ambassador of South Korea Mr. Joon Gyu Lee assures the FM that Korea was particularly keen to forge business ties and joint ventures with the industrialists from Northern India especially Punjab region. Prominent amongst other present on the occasion included Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Tarnjit Singh MD Sigma Corporation Ltd. and Principal Secretary Finance Mr. D.P. Reddy.
