On March 24 and 25, The Courtyard at Elante Mall, the region’s favourite destination for shopping, food and fun, will turn into a literary arena where some of the country’s most loved poets, storytellers and performing artistes will weave magic with their voices and words to transport you to an altogether different world.

Elante, in association with Kommune, a growing society of art lovers, is all set to throw a lavish literary feast for its visitors with The Soul Stage, an engaging two-day affair being organised for the first time in the Tricity, where professional storytellers, poets and performing artistes from all over India will enliven and enrich your spirits like never before and share their experiences with you on a single stage.

The participants include renowned theatre personality Roshan Abbas, actor and storyteller Gaurav Kapur, casting director and storyteller Tess Joseph and poet-singer Swanand Kirkire, among others.

Speaking about the initiative, Roshan Abbas, Director and Founder, Kommune, said, “We were pleasantly surprised when the management at Elante Mall approached us with a proposal to organise The Soul Stage in The Courtyard of the mall. It gives me immense pleasure to partner with them. The Soul Stage is a platform where achievers narrate their experiences and share aspects of their lives which people can relate to.”

Kommune, which was started as a collective by Roshan Abbas, Gaurav Kapur and Ankur Tewari, is an organisation of artistes, producers, patrons, collaborators and art lovers who want to discover and nurture creative performance and artistic ideas.

Engaging the burgeoning spoken word community from around the globe, The Soul Stage will have art, music, poetry, food and everything else that you may expect from a well-curated festival at Elante.
