TN +2 Result 2018: Tamil Nadu HSC Result Released at tnresults.nic.in

The class 12 or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination result has been declared by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu. The TN Plus 2 Result 2018 has been released at tnresults.nic.in. Students having appeared for the exam may check their results at tnresults.nic.in, the Tamil Nadu Board’s official website. Apart from checking on the official website- tnresults.nic.in, students may also check their TN Plus 2 Result 2018 at examresults.net and dge.tn.gov.in.

  • Names, marks and ranks of toppers won’t be declared by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu.

Nearly 8,98,763 students appeared in the HSC exams which were conducted from March 3 to April 6. Out of the total students who appeared for the TN HSC examination, 36,411 students registered for the Plus Two examination in Coimbatore and 25,401 candidates registered from Tirupur this year.

TN Plus 2 Result 2018: Steps to check your result at tnresults.nic.in:

  1. Go to the Tamil Nadu DGE’s official website- tnresults.nic.in.
  2. On the home page, click on the link- ‘TN HSC Result 2018’.
  3. Put in your details such as roll number, etc. and click on submit.
  4. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Take a print out of your result for future reference.

State education minister Sengottaiyan said that the Tamil Nadu Board will not be announcing the names of toppers and the marks obtained by them because it causes mental stress to children. Just like other boards, the Tamil Nadu Board too made sure that unfair means weren’t used during TN Plus Two examination and hence flying squads visited the centres to ensure transparency in the exam conducted.
