NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Christmas was celebrated with Gusto at, DLF Citycentre Mall, IT Park, Chandigarh, tricity’s only Premium Outlet Mall. The ambience at the mall is resonating with the Yuletide & New Year’s festive spirit.
To celebrate Christmas in a different way, the mall held a colourful ‘Christmas Parade’– which saw many kids putting their best foot forward, in creative X’Mas theme costumes. The X’Mas fancy dress event witnessed many kids dressed up as Santas, Santarinas, reindeers, elves etc. The participating kids presented a very confident ramp walk in their innovative dresses to impress the Judges. The parade was held separately for age groups 4 to 7 years & 8 to 14 years. Exciting prizes were given to children who participated. The icing on the cake for the kids was that Santa Claus was in attendance and they got an opportunity to shake his hand and take away goodies from him. Their X’Mas dream came true.
The Christmas & New Year Celebration, of which the ‘Christmas Parade’ was a part, will be on till January 3, 2016. Shoppers will get an assured Christmas gift on shopping worth Rs 5000.
