NewZNew (Panchkula) : Hallmark School, Panchkula’s teachers dressed-up as children, and conducted dance, music, drama, raps, mimicry and various fun-filled activities for students, as they Celebrated Children’s Day to commemorate 125th birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.

The celebrations commenced with a special assembly conducted solely by the teachers. After a brief description of the history of International and National Children’s Day, the hilarious raps, describing each class in Yo-Yo Honey Singh style, various dances, childish babbles, tongue-twisters, mimicry, etc enthralled the students so much that they asked for more.

The highlight of the event was a rhythmic euphony by the pre-primary teachers which brought alive the King of Jungle living in perfect harmony with his fellows. It took the tiny tots to the realms of rhyme and rhythm.

Tina Mongia, a mentor, guised as CHACHA NEHRU extended a message of gratitude to everyone.

Mrs Kavita Wadhwa, Principal, Hallmark Public School, Panchkula congratulated the teachers for their awesome show and conveyed her best wishes to the children on this special day and urged them to be as guileless, pure and zealous as they are, since childhood is all about happiness and freedom.
