NSS unit of DAV College today held the induction and orientation programme of the volunteers for the new session in the main auditorium of the college.
The programme started with the power point presentation throwing light on the last year’s activities of the college NSS. After the interview and enrolment of the volunteers they were apprised about their participation in the activities, responsibilities and meaning of NSS. The programme officers also motivated them for the noble cause and to carry on the legacy of DAVC NSS. They were also taught wearing NSS sash, maintaining NSS activities diary and NSS clap. They were also made to memorise and repeat the NSS moto “Not Me But You.” The volunteers and the programme officers then took the Swachhata pledge. Despite the heavy rain this event was a great success and the zeal and enthusiasm of the volunteers was very high. Principal Dr. B. C. Josan, congratulated the entire team.
