JNU has imposed afine of Rs 20,000 each on at least four students for alleged indicipline, apart from withdrawing hostel facilities.
The issue came up when PM Modi in a TV interview stated that selling pakodas counts as employment. These students sold pakodas as a protest against the statement, in spite of repeated requests from chief security officer not to do this act.
