More than 140 orphans participated in Vrinda Utsav


Organized by Vrinda Foundation, the event proved to be a memorable day for all

NewZNew (Chandigarh) : It was a special day for the children from various orphanages of the tricity. An initiative by the Vrinda Foundation for the orphans, Vrinda Utsav proved to be very successful and engaging for the children. More than 140 kids participated in this event by NGO Vrinda. Shiv Raman Gaur, IAS (Retd.) was the Chief Guest and Vineet Joshi, Asst. Media Advisor, Govt. of Punjab was the Guest of Honor.

Children took part in dancing, singing and drawing competitions which were all held at Indian Medical Association Hall, Sector-35. In total, children from 11 orphanages and NGOs participated in this unique event.

After the inauguration, Chief Guest Shiv Raman Gaur said, “This event is a beautiful way to make these children feel special. It gave them an excellent platform to showcase their talent and come into the limelight. I congratulate Vrinda Foundation for this commendable effort.”

Guest of Honor Vineet Joshi commented, “I get a chance to attend many such functions where children perform and participate. But today, the experience was much different. I really appreciate the talent of this young brigade who are as important as our own children.”

The event was sponsored by Dr. Ravul Jindal and Dr. Prabhu. NGO Vrinda is a registered charitable organization which is run by few eminent doctors of tricity along with few social activists. President of the NGO Dr. Gauri, Dr. Preeti Jindal, Dr. Prabhu, Dr. Mann and other active members were also present on this occasion.
