NewZNew (Zirakpur) : To mark the importance of Ozone Day, an awareness programme was organized by students of Dikshant International School. Students of Grade III performed various activities to celebrate the day. The students spoke about importance of ozone layer, causes of its depletion, effects of depleting ozone layer on the environment of earth and the health hazards caused.
Various activities were performed by the students which included slogan writing, preparing charts and models to create awareness among students. These young kids also distributed cards to visitors with messages of ‘Save Ozone Layer; Save Earth’, ‘Ozone: All we have between UV and Us’.
Mr. Mitul Dikshit, Chairman, Dikshant International School said “We want to raise our children’s awareness of their role in protecting the environment and saving our earth. Such activities enable children to respect the natural resources which we take for granted.”
