A panel discussion comprising some of Biblio’s founding members and its current editorial team members, including Dileep Padgaonkar, Rukhmini Bhaya Nair,Brinda Datta and Seema Alavi walking us through the journey of India’s most respected literary magazine, helping us understand the world-view that keeps such an endeavour going. The Inaugural session would be followed by a discussion of ‘Fractals’ between Dr.Shashi Tharoor and poet Sudeep Sen. A discussion on Dr.Shashi Tharoor’s ‘India Shastra’, will conclude the inaugural day. The highlight of the second day would be Sukrita Paul Kumar in discussion with Gulzar and translator Nirupama Dutt on the ‘Pluto Poems’.
It is also planned to debate 15 individual books which will be dissected, analysed and read out. Nine of India’s leading literary critics have been invited to nominate a book of their choice and six books (3 Fiction 3 Non Fiction) will be covered and reviewed by a panel of ‘Biblio’ magazine. “This unique format of celebrating the books rather than the authors has interestingly been the face of CLF’s. We are really pleased to celebrate ‘Biblio’ magazine’s 20 years of existence, also a workshop involving 5 European Poets and 5 National makes CLF more interesting,” says Mr Mitul Dixit, Chairman, Adab Foundation.
