As vampire series go, few shows can possibly come near the fame of ‘Castlevania.’ Adapted from the title Japanese video game, the series retells the tale of pain and revenge. The vampire Vlad Dracula Țepeș is experiencing a life-altering encounter after finding his beautiful wife and has transformed in a spectacular way into an entirely different individual from what he once was. When a number of vampires succeed in escaping to Japan after abandoning China, they are secretly pursued by Jaegers, a company of vampire hunters. Among their ranks is a young Sirius man named Yuliy, whose village has been greatly disadvantaged due to the vampires. Strangely, his aristocratic family is given by God The Ark of Sirius, a strong holy artifact that can potentially exert influence over everything. It has since become a cause of perpetual conflict, and the current time is no exception. 3. Vampire in the Garden (2022)

Wit Studio’s ‘Vampire in the Garden’ transports audiences to another world where the war between vampires and humans has resulted in waves of deaths and devastation. When the latter is driven to the verge of extinction, desperation only makes bloodshed reach a new height. During the riotous drama, a young soldier by the name of Momo sees the vampire queen Fiine defending one of her friends from a vampire attack. This piques her interest to the extent that she trails Fiine, and through their encounter, they discover that they have things in common. Both of them seek a place to live where humans and vampires can live in harmony with each other and no more bloodshed. This ambition drives them to work in tandem and embark on an extended adventure searching for the mythical land that allows them to achieve their dreams. 4. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (2012 -)

‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’ is about the adventures of the Joestar family, who have been blessed with special abilities and are meant to battle perilous enemies. Various segments of the show concentrate on various members of the bizarre family. Although ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’ basically does not revolve around vampires, the anime does have a variety of strong vampire characters in nearly all its seasons. Interestingly, they are even the major antagonists in the initial seasons. Actually, Dio Brando, who wishes to gain immortality and world domination, is really the antagonist of the first part. 5. Castlevania: Nocturne (2023)

‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ is set about 300 years after the events of Castlevania and in the late 18th century, at the time of the famous French Revolution. When godlike Vampire Messiah emerges and acquires unimaginable power, the future begins to look very grim. To battle against his perilous rise to power, a young vampire hunter named Richter Belmont joins forces with his adoptive sister, Maria Renard. 6. Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy (2022-2023)

Produced on the basis of Kazushi Hagiwara’s manga series, the dark fantasy anime is under the direction of Takaharu Ozaki. The show is the saga of the kingdom of Metallicana fighting to protect itself against the evil powers of the Four Divine Kings, former generals of the cruel magician Dark Schneider, who was trapped inside a newborn baby 15 years ago. The Four Divine Kings seek to revive Anthrasax- the god of destruction. That involves shattering four seals, one among which is in Metallicana.  Vampire Anime Yoko Tia Noto, Metallicana’s Grand Priest’s daughter, releases Dark Schneider out of her adoptive brother’s body as a last measure. We cannot know, though, if Schneider’s past intention still exists in him and whether he will assist the kingdom defend itself against his former allies. 7. Baban Baban Ban Vampire (2025- )

In Itsuro Kawasaki’s explicit vampire drama series ‘Baban Baban Ban Vampire,’ a 450-year-old vampire targets a 15-year-old boy’s virgin blood. The catch? He must wait until the boy turns 18, which means 3 more years. Within these three years, he should not allow the boy to take any extreme step that makes him lose the final taste. Fate, as it turns out, sees the boy fall in love with a girl in his class, undermining the vampire’s mission. 8. Vampire Knight (2008)

Day classes consist of human students and night classes consist of vampire students at the Cross Academy. The exact nature of the vampires is unknown to the humans, and it is up to the Guardian Yuki Cross of the academy to keep the peace intact no matter what. But when her best friend Zero Kiryu begins Vampire Anime  exhibiting signs that he is a vampire, Yuki must find at least one means by which she can assist Zero in coming to terms with his bloodlust. Added to this, she must also deal with the new realities that are presented to her about the world of vampires, challenging her wits and capacity for conflict resolution. Based on the manga series written by Matsuri Hino, ‘Vampire Knight’ merges drama, action, romance, and horror in an interesting way, making anime watchers enjoy binge-watching sessions.
