Hiren Gada – Director, Shemaroo Entertainment Limited, said “We are glad to launch Punjabi Tadka – a first ever Punjabi DTH service in the country on Airtel Digital TV, one of the fastest growing DTH services. The Punjabi film industry has grown leaps and bounds in recent times and there are a number of movies that get released every year, but there is no movie platform for this market. Punjabi Tadka offers a win win situation for both content owners and consumers by creating non-stop access to Punjabi Movies. For a platform like this we could not have a better partner than PTC as they are industry leaders and have deep understanding of Punjabi content and market.”

S.Sriram, Chief Marketing Officer, – Airtel Digital TV added, “We at Airtel digital TV are always looking for new ways to deliver a world class entertainment experience for our customers. In line with this commitment, we are excited to announce the launch of Punjabi Tadka, our first Punjabi SVOD service for viewers. This will give users access to quality localised content coupled with great viewing experience”.
