Bharathiar University Result 2017: Bharathiar University, Coimbatore has declared the results for UG courses including B.A, B.Sc. and B.Com. The results have been published online for 1st sem, 2nd sem, 3rd sem, 4th sem, 5th sem, and 6th semester exams. The students belonging to the Colleges affiliated to Bharathiar University can now check the Bharathiar University results from University website buc.edu.in.
The Bharathiar University was established at Coimbatore by the Tamil Nadu government in 1982, while the University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized the varsity in 1985. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the University with ‘A’ grade. As per the NIRF ranking, the University stands at 28th position.
Currently, the University has 6 government colleges, 3 constituent colleges, 16 aided colleges and 86 self-financing colleges under its ambit. Around 80 thousand students are enrolled in UG courses being offered at Bharathiar University affiliated colleges.
The examinations were conducted by the University for all its affiliated colleges in April and May this year. The Bharathiar University results 2017 are now available and can be checked through the official website buc.edu.in. The results have been announced for UG and PG courses in the following format:

The University has activated two links for each result, for which the student will have to provide just the Register number. The result page will display the marks scored by the students in each paper taken during the April/ May 2017 examination.
To be declared pass in UG courses, the students are required to score minimum 40% marks in each paper. For PG courses, the minimum requirement is getting 50% marks in each paper. Check Bharathiar University results April 2017 from the University portal (click here b-u.ac.in).
Revaluation: The students can apply for revaluation within 12 days from the date of publication of results. The request for revaluation should be sent in the prescribed application form with a demand draft of appropriate amount depending on the number of papers. The application should be submitted to the Controller of Examinations only through the College. The result of revaluation will be sent to the Principal of College concerned.
