Book ‘Messages from Himalayan Sages: Timely and Timeless’ by Guru Sakalamaa unveiled: Renowned spiritual guru and author Guru Sakalamaa released her book ‘Messages from Himalayan Sages: Timely and Timeless’ during a grand event at Punjab Kala Bhavan, Sector 16.
The event was graced by esteemed guests including Rajya Sabha Member Padma Shri Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal and actor Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi.
Before the formal proceedings, the traditional lamp lighting accompanied by music marked the auspicious beginning of the event. Present at the occasion were Padma Shri Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal; Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi; architect and skilled artist Karan Bajwa; Pradeep Rao; Gauravpreet Singh Bajwa; Colonel P.S. Bajwa (Retd.), Ex-Deputy Director, Sainik Welfare, Punjab; Rajvinder Kaur Bajwa, Joint Director Investigation and Deputy Commissioner State Taxes , Punjab and other distinguished guests.
Guru Sakalamaa, a disciple of Swami Rama, who was initiated into the Sri Vidya tradition thirty years ago, shared insights about her book. It is notable that Sri Vidya seeks to transcend devotees’ consciousness, uniting them with the ultimate reality.
Guru Sakalamaa described ‘Messages from Himalayan Sages: Timely & Timeless’ as a narrative of her experiences, conveyed in simple words which emphasized that spiritual development isn’t rocket science and can be achieved through adherence to Sri Vidya without renouncing worldly duties.
Guru Sakalamaa expressed her aspiration to liberate spirituality from secrecy and make it accessible not only across India but globally, transcending barriers of religion, caste, race, and geography.
She highlighted that the book advocates the idea that anyone can pursue a path of spiritual growth without disrupting their current lifestyle, surpassing mental limitations that contribute to modern unhealthy lifestyles.
Guru Sakalamaa acknowledged Pradeep Rao for his significant role in publishing the English edition of the book, noting his consistent efforts and contribution as a crucial member of the team translating her book from Kannada to English.
She explained that the book sheds light on the knowledge and teachings of Himalayan sages, establishing relevance between ancient traditions and contemporary times. The book will be available on Amazon.
During the event, Rajya Sabha Member Padma Shri Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal and actor Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi appreciated the book and urged everyone to read it.
Architect and skilled artist Karan Bajwa presented an art demonstration, where Guru Sakalama described a poignant moment from her life, spontaneously , which was captured on canvas skillfully by Karan Bajwa within five minutes without any prior information about the subject at hand. This demonstration showcased Karan Bajwa’s notable talent and deep connection with the subject.
Furthermore a production ‘The Guiding Dream: A Journey with Sage Durvasa’ portrayed the extraordinary experience of Gauravpreet Singh Bajwa, who, in a vivid and transformative dream, encountered the legendary Sage Durvasa. Gauravpreet is a direct disciple of Guru Sakalamaa.
The audience was also mesmerised with an ethereal presentation of the ‘Mystic Moon Salutation’ (Chandra Kala Namaskara) conceptualised & designed by Guru Sakalamaa and performed again by Gauravpreet who is also an internationally acclaimed yoga exponent.
At the conclusion of the programme, Guru Sakalamaa honored Karan Bajwa and Gauravpreet Singh Bajwa for their outstanding performances.
