NewZNew (Chandigarh) : C. L. Aggarwal D.A.V. Model School Chandigarh, celebrated the most cherished annual cultural fiesta 2015 Desh Mera Abhiman. Shri S Paul Chairman and Director of Paul merchants Ltd. was the chief guest of the function. Shri Ravinder Talwar Secretary DAV CMC and SP Communication of Chandigarh Police Roshan Lal graced the occasion as a guest of honour.
The cultural fiesta started with the welcome speech. All present took the blessing of Lord Ganesha with Ganesh Vandana. The evening witnessed a fabulous array of dance and musical acts. Kindergarten students dressed in colourful attires, and presented group dance surprised the audience with their rejuvenated energy. The mesmerizing culture show with the maximum participations of the students grabbed the attention of all parents. A colorful dance bonanza was staged by the students as they started with Punjabi dance, spreading the happiness in the surroundings followed by the fusion dance of various states, silver dance, puppet dance and led butterfly dance by the class 3rdstudents. Boys of class 4th and 5th paid tribute to Bhagat singh. The musical drama swatch Bharat Abhiyan brought a thunderous applause from the audience.
Our worthy principal Mrs. Sunita Ranyal read the Annual school report which was aimed at giving glimpse of the school performance and achievements in the various curricular as well as Co-Curricular activities held during the session. She also thanked the parents for being so supportive at each step. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the students and the parents. He also applauded the efforts of the team of teachers of the school for putting wonderful and successful show. The culmination was marked by the vote of thank and the National Anthem.
Sat Paul Bansal Chief Guest appreciates the performances of the participants’ children and also efforts of the Management to make this function successful. He on this occasion also announced Rs.51000/- for all the participants of the function. S.P.Bansal also announces Rs.2 lakh as a scholarship for the 10 needy girl student of the school from this session.
