NewZNew (Mohali) : If you are looking forward to celebrate your New Year Eve with a difference, then here is a chance to be a part of an event full of Dance and Celebration. The motive behind the whole event is to create an environment of love and share happiness. This is a non commercial event and entry is open to all.
The activity will be in form of a festival cum get-together and will involve the residents of surrounding area. The event will be held on December 31, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a message to share the happiness and love. The artists of the organization are amateurs who rehearse and enjoy daily at Sector – 68, Mohali practicing yoga, meditation, dance forms like Bhangra, Malwai Giddha, Jhoomar, Bachata from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in the amphitheatre (Open Auditorium).
The tentative programme will be as follow:
Wednesday, 31 December 2014 from 1 pm to 7 pm
1:00 pm to 2:30 pm Welcome dance and painting Theme Goodbye 2014
2:30 pm to 3:30 pm Meditation and Yoga
3:30 pm to 5:00 pm Cultural Programme
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Lighting Candles and Sharing
6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Dancing and Celebration

The event will be held under the aegis of New Theatre (regd.) a not for profit folk dance regional development cultural association working in the field of talent, heritage and cultural promotion from past 19 years.
The director of the theatre Mr Pritpal Singh (Peter Sodhi) has been working in this field from past 40 years and has participated at Republic Day Parade, Delhi, Asiad 82, Kullu Dusshera Festival, World Dance Fest London, Banglore, Mumbai among others and has won various laurels for the state of Punjab.
