Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), Raipur has declared the supplementary examination result for High School and Higher Secondary (All India Senior School Certificate) examination. While there were reports that CGBSE supply result 2017 will be declared in the first week of August, the supply results have been declared by the CG Board. The result announcement has ended the wait for over 80 thousand students who took supplementary exams in June-July. The students can check CG supply result 2017 from official result portal results.cg.nic.in and cgbse.net.
CGBSE had conducted the annual examination for High School (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (All India Senior School Certificate – Class 12) in the month of March this year. Over 4 lakh students took Class 10th annual exams and the results for the same were announced on April 21. Around 4 lakh students also appeared for Class 12th exams from streams – Arts, Commerce, Science, and Class 12th results were announced by CGBSE on April 27. For the students who could not pass the annual examination, the Board later announced that they will be able to appear for Supplementary examination.
CGBSE conducted the supplementary exams for both Class 12th & 10th from June 22 to July 5. Meanwhile, the CG Board also conducted supplementary examination for 12th Vocational stream from June 22 to 30. Going by the statistics of CGBSE supply result 2017, only 9.13 percent students could pass 10th supplementary exam. Of total 53,343 students who took Class 10th supplementary exams, a whooping 48,507 have been declared fail. The total number of pass students as per CGBSE 10th supply result is just 4,836, of which 54 students cleared the exam with 1st Division. Other 839 students came Second, while 3,891 students came Third.
The 12th supplementary result has been recorded as 37.91 percent, which is much better than Class 10th result. Total 29,059 students took Class 12 supplementary exams, of which 10,878 have been declared pass. 179 students grabbed 1st Division, 4,283 came 2nd, while other 6,256 students passed supplementary exams with 3rd Division. Around 18,181 students have been declared fail as per CGBSE 12th supply result 2017. CG Board has stayed the result of around 353 students.
While the admission process in most of the undergraduate programs is almost over, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has written to the Universities seeking extension in the last date for applying. The last date has been asked to increase by 10th August so that the students who have pass Class 12 supplementary exam can take admission.
