Chandigarh gets a detox boost with the launch of city’s first Hot Yoga StudioThis much-anticipated wellness destination introduces the transformative Mandeep Hot Yoga sequence—an expertly crafted 25-posture program rooted in Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Rhythmic Yoga.

The event was graced by Bollywood actor and 90s icon Deepak Tijori who unveiled the state-of-the-art studio in the presence of  yoga expert Mandeep Kaur Sandhu and noted actress Gurpreet Chhada.

The newly inaugurated studio spans 1,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 25 participants per session providing ample space for individual comfort and optimal movement. Mandeep Hot Yoga’s specially designed with “Melting Chambers” are set at a precise 41 degree with 40% humidity, carefully calibrated for optimal body response and safety.

Developed by certified instructors trained under the Bikram Yoga College of India, the sequence is designed to engage every part of the body muscles, ligaments, veins and organs for peak functionality and holistic health.

These sessions promote flexibility, detoxification and safe stretching in a serene and well-lit environment. Each 75-minute class is led by certified international trainers from the United States and Australia which ensures  a premium learning experience grounded in global best practices.

Speaking at the inauguration, Vikram Singh Rana, Managing Partner  said, “Chandigarh is ready for a wellness revolution and Mandeep Hot Yoga is our offering to a community that values health, discipline and transformation. This studio is more than a space, it’s a place where heat meets healing, where tradition meets innovation and where every drop of sweat is a step closer to physical vitality and mental peace.”

Hot yoga is practiced in a heated room which can aid in managing ailments like chronic pain, arthritis, mild asthma, anxiety and stress by improving flexibility, circulation and mental well-being.

It supports weight loss, detoxification through sweating and digestive health. Women may find relief from menopause symptoms and the practice can help regulate mood and hormonal balance.

However, it should be avoided or modified for individuals with serious heart conditions, severe asthma, pregnancy or heat sensitivity. Hot yoga serves as a supportive therapy to enhance overall health, mobility and emotional balance when practiced mindfully and safely.
