Chandigarh Literary Society organises MomentUs: The Chandigarh Literary Society will host a grand event, ‘MomentUs 2024,’ at Hotel Aroma, Chandigarh, on Saturday where CLS members will engage in literary discussions, storytelling, and poetry recitation, informed Dr. Sumita Misra, Chairperson of CLS. The event is planned as a fun filled literary fest exclusively for CLS members.
The first session, ‘Are you a LitWiz?,’ will be a lively literary quiz. This will be followed by a panel discussion, ‘Bestseller to Blockbuster,’ where panellists will discuss book-to-film adaptations. In ‘Telling a Tale,’ story writers will share storytelling insights and the craft of creating stories. The debate, ‘Made in Heaven or Earth?’ will see members discuss love versus arranged marriage.
Dr.Sumita, in a press release, emphasized the importance of literature in relieving stress and highlighted CLS’s role in showcasing talent from the Tricity and beyond. The concluding session, ‘Sham-e-Shayari,’ will feature captivating poetry recitations by renowned poets. Hotel Aroma Classic and Litevents will be the hospitality and literary partners for the event.
