Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini today performed prayers on the occasion of Vishwakarma Diwas at his residence ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’. The Chief Minister offered flowers and paid obeisance to the idol of Lord Vishwakarma. On this occasion, BJP State President Sh. Mohan Lal Badoli was also present.
The Chief Minister extended heartfelt greetings of Vishwakarma Day to the people of the state and said that Lord Vishwakarma is the symbol of creation, hard work and skill. He guided society on the path of progress through craftsmanship, construction and expertise. On this occasion, the Chief Minister prayed for happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of artisan brothers.
The Chief Minister said that the ‘Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana’ launched by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is an important step towards empowering the skills of traditional artisans and craftsmen. Carrying forward this spirit, the Haryana Government has also implemented several schemes in the state to provide training, financial assistance and access to modern tools to artisans, technicians and self-employed individuals.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini also extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the citizens of the state on the auspicious festivals of Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.
