NewZNew (Chandigarh) : CRB Public School of Sector 7 B, Chandigarh celebrated ‘Lohri’ with great fervour. The students draped in traditional Punjabi attire sang songs and danced around the bonfire.
The Principal, Sangeeta Mittal conveyed her best wishes to the students and staff on Lohri. She also motivated them to remain binded to their traditional culture, as every festival is celebrated in school with an objective to foster brotherhood and communal harmony among the students. The students offered groundnuts, rewri, gachak etc to the God of fire and enjoyed the festival by singing and dancing on the songs in praise of “Dulha Bhatti”.
