Dikshant Students hold signature campaign on International Peace Day

NewZNew (Panchkula) : Students of Dikshant International School showed their artistic skills on the occasion of International Peace Day.  Students designed a sculpture of a Dove which was larger than life and which was perched at a height of 12 feet, to give it a look of a ‘Flying Dove’. Dove is known as a messenger of peace & the students painstakingly put together the creation.

The breathtaking Dove was placed at a busy market place in Panchkula’s Sector 20, to give the message of peace to all visiting the market as well as shop owners.

The enthusiastic students tried to drive home the message of how important Peace was for National as well as Global progress of mankind, by conducting a Signature campaign. People signed on display boards placed near the Dove and expressed their thoughts about ‘What peace means to a common man?’

“The campaign was organized to promote communal harmony among people and to pay tribute to people and children who have suffered in the ongoing civil war in Syria.” Said Mr. Mitul Dikshit, Chairman, Dikshant International School.
