NewZNew (Thrissur/Kerla) : Punjab Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema was the chief guest during the silver jubilee anniversary celebrations of Rt. Rtv. Bishop Franco Mulakkal at Thrissur (Kerla). Dr. Cheema after lighting the lamp delivered keynote address and conveyed his hearty greetings to Bishop Franco Mulakkal who has completed 25 years of baptism as priest.
Dr. Cheema said that Bishop Franco Mulakkal has contributed a lot to bring about peace, harmony and religious tolerance in the state of Punjab. The minister lauded the personal efforts of Bishop Franco Mulakkal for spreading health care education among the masses. He said that the selfless service rendered by father Mulakkal to uplift the downtrodden is worth commendable.
It is worth mentioning that Bishop Franco Mulakkal celebrated his silver jubilee at his native place Thrissur in Kerla. Bhangra team from Punjab enthralled the audiences by its performance.
