CRM (Crop Residue Management) Scheme 2025-26: Farmers applied online for agricultural machinery subsidy for stubble management. These applications were drawn 3 times today through the computerized randomization system under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Dr. Mandeep Kaur in a transparent manner in the presence of all the committee members.

On this occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner appealed to the farmers to make maximum use of these machines and the Agriculture Department is also providing machines on rent so that the incidence of fire can be controlled and the environment can be protected from pollution.
On this occasion, Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Rajinder Kumar Kamboj informed that for the proper management of paddy residue/stubble, online applications were invited from 22 April 2025 to 12 May 2025 on the portal www.agrimachinerypb.com for the purchase and subsidy of useful machines (Super Seeder, Smart Seeder, Happy Seeder, Surface Seeder, Zero Till Drill, Super SMS, Reversible Plough, Shrub Master/Rotary Slasher, Crop Reaper, Mulcher, Paddy Straw Chopper, Baler and Rake etc.) for the proper management of paddy residue/stubble. He said that section letters will be issued to the farmers through the Agri Machinery Portal and it was also appealed that the section machines should be purchased as soon as possible. On this occasion, Assistant Agricultural Engineer Rajinder Kumar informed about the applications applied that the total target of machines in the district for the individual category (50 percent subsidy) was 185, out of which 32 percent is reserved for the Scheduled Caste category, for the general category, the list has been prepared on the basis of seniority list and a total of 505 applications have been received for these and priority has been given to those farmers who have tractors available. For the CHC category, those farmers who will fulfill the conditions issued by the government under the CRM scheme will be issued section letters according to the funds received.
On this occasion, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies Fazilka Mr. Sonu Mahajan, LDM Fazilka and Deputy LDM Fazilka, besides officers and employees of the Agriculture Department, apart from members of the District Level Executive Committee were present.
