NewZNew (Bathinda) : The financial Commissioner Revenue and Rehabilitation Mr Karan Avtar Singh today conducted surprise checking of Fard Kendra and tehsil in Bathinda district administrative complex. He directed the officers present to ensure that no one in public is harassed and that people’s work is done within given time period.
The commissioner Ferozepur division Mr V K Sharma and deputy commissioner Bathinda Dr Basant Garg received him. The ADC (general) Dr Sumit Jarangal, IAS Mr Vishesh Sarangal, SDM Bathinda Mr Damanjit Singh Maan, assistant commissioner (general) Dr Narinder Singh Dhaliwal and other district officials accompanied him.
He said that the state government has introduced e-stamping and other methods of revenue transactions that fasten the pace of work done in more transparent manner than before. Directing the officials at fard Kendra to ensure that all computer entries are uploaded with utmost perfection he also reviewed the revenue received at the center. He suggested setting up of a query center wherein anyone visiting the center for land mutation or other similar works is told about all the details about his or her property making future transactions easier. He appreciated the efforts of district administration in running the tehsil and Fard Kendra successfully.
