NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Seminar on “Digital Marketing for Entrepreneurs” exclusively for members of Mohali Industries Association (MIA) was organized today at PTU Mohali campus. A joint initiative has been taken by PTU-Nalanda and eCdemy to make entrepreneurs and their employees ready for the future Digital India.
The key note speaker for the event was Mr. Bharat Chopra, a renowned Digital Marketing professional of India. He highlighted the importance of Digital presence for growth and sustaining businesses in the competitive environment for all types of businesses.
PTU Nalanda has entered into a partnership to impart Digital Marketing Certified Professional (DMCP) courses with eCdemy Learning Solutions. The program is India’s first digital marketing program, which will impart training on twelve essential verticals of digital marketing with an option to specialize in one vertical. The Program is designed by renowned Digital Marketing experts from Canada led by John Foreman and Axel Kuhn who are the creators and lead instructors of eBusiness and eCommerce Certification Program offered by University of Toronto, Canada. The first batch of DMCP will commence from 16th November, 2015 at PTU-Nalanda’s Mohali Campus. This program is part-time weekend program, which will run for ten (10) weeks.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mr Anurag Aggarwal, former President, MIA. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Mukesh Bansal, Finance Secretary, MIA, along with thirty members of the Association. Mr Chandra Mohan, Chairman PTU Nalanda was the guest of Honour. Mr R P Sehgal, Member, Governing Council, PTU Nalanda in his address conveyed the vision of the Institute to be a world-class centre for application-focused learning in quality management and entrepreneurship and also, raise global competitiveness of local businesses and groom technology-led entrepreneurs and future business leaders. While speaking on the occasion Mr Manish Trehan, CEO PTU Nalanda, conveyed that digital marketing has shaken up the marketing industry and businesses around the world have taken a serious note and they are using digital media to manage their brand and engage effectively with customers.
