Early Life
Freya Skye was born Freya Skye Jones on October 17, 2009, in Buckinghamshire, England. She is the daughter of Sarah and Mike Jones, and she began acting and singing when she was five years old. Freya attended Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
Career
In 2021, Skye released her first single, “I Love the Way.” In November 2022, it was announced that 13-year-old Freya had been chosen to represent the United Kingdom in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Armenia. She said of the news, “‘I couldn’t believe it when I found out. I was not expecting it at all, it still doesn’t feel real that I’m going to be representing the UK.
