Pandit Mohanlal Legacy Lives on: GGDSD Fraternity Pays Tribute on Karam Yogi’s Death Anniversary: As many as 250 volunteers donated blood on the 25th death anniversary of the revered Late Dr. Pandit Mohanlal ji, at Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector 32-C, Chandigarh. Advocate Upender Sharma, Former Punjab Jail and Justice Minister, inaugurated the Blood and Medical Camp.
Former Minister , Upendra Sharma, while delivering the Memorial lecture, recounted Pandit ji’s work, which has left an indelible mark on education, public service, and society at large. Mr Sharma stated ,Pandit ji’s legacy continues through GGDSD College. The college embodies his vision by producing graduates who excel and contribute positively to society. GGDSD College continues to epitomize excellence and uphold sanatanist ideals, with a deeply entrenched and solid bedrock of upright ethics.
His legacy of true leadership , selfless service and profound wisdom will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations, added Advocate Sharma.
College Principal Dr. Ajay Sharma, in his welcome address, said, “Pandit Mohan Lal Ji’s life was a beacon of inspiration for all of us. His unwavering commitment to education and social welfare continues to guide our mission at GGDSD College.”
A book titled ‘Sustainable Development in India: Strategies and Ways Ahead’ was also released as a tribute to Dr. Pandit Mohan Lal Ji’s vision of shaping GGDSD College into a beacon of academic excellence and societal contribution. The book explores key strategies for a sustainable future and addresses the pressing challenges of sustainable development in India.
The spiritual tone of the Sabha was further enhanced by a soul-stirring bhajan performance by Aastha Goswami, a renowned devotional singer from Vrindavan.
The event was graced by the distinguished members of the GGDSD College Society, including: – President Ms. Vaishali Sharma – Vice-President Dr. Siddharth Sharma – General Secretaries Dr. Anirudh Joshi, Dr. P.K. Bajaj, and Dr. S.C.
