Haryana Olympic Association has raised major concerns:
Many candidates who had applied under earlier advertisements are now crossing the upper age limit due to recruitment delays. Haryana Olympic Association has requested that such athletes be granted special age relaxation so that genuine sports persons are not deprived of government job opportunities.
Haryana Olympic Association has urged that all unfilled vacancies under the Sports Quota across departments be consolidated, advertised afresh, and filled at the earliest. Particular attention has been sought for long-pending posts such as Police Sub-Inspectors, Physical Education Teachers, and Coaching posts.
Speaking on the matter, Haryana Olympic Association President Capt. Jasvinder Meenu Beniwal emphasized:
“The future of many sportspersons is at stake due to prolonged delays, and immediate steps are required to safeguard their rights and ensure justice for both mainstream and para athletes.”
The representation was submitted by a team of the Haryana Olympic Association comprising Neeraj Tanwar, Anil Khatri, Rohit Pundhir, Rakesh Singh, Sunil Ranga, Kapil Attreja, Amar Singh, Bhupendra Chauhan, and Chinmaya Gurg, Secretary, Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
The Association has expressed hope that the Haryana Staff Selection Commission will take swift action in the interest of Haryana’s sporting community.
