Customers can create a will in just 3 quick steps and 30 minutes
NewZNew (Chandigarh) : HDFC securities today launched an electronic will writing service. The electronic will, or e-will, can be generated quickly and conveniently in three simple steps. The whole process takes no more than thirty minutes and can be completed from anywhere with just a few mouse clicks.
“This service is among the first of its kind in India. It enables individuals to securely draw up a tenable e-will online with the utmost ease and convenience. The service is completely confidential, and does not store any personal details. A will can be generated in the comfort and privacy of the customer’s home or office. This reliable and affordable service will greatly reduce the time spent creating a will,” said Mr Aseem Dhru, Managing Director and CEO, HDFC securities Limited.
HDFC securities offers this service in collaboration with WillJini, a legal partner, which assists individuals to write their personal “e-will” online in about 30 minutes without any phone calls or emails or meetings.
This Do-it-Yourself service e-will is 100% automatic, seamless and is not prepared or vetted by an Advisor. It is sent to the creator for approval. “Once it is approved, a tenable Will is prepared for execution. Using digital channels, HDFC securities is consistently looking at ways to enhance the overall customer experience, making every transaction process simpler, faster, and better,” Mr Aseem Dhru added.
An individual can prepare an e-will in an easy and hassle-free way by registering on HDFC securities website (www.hdfcsec.com). All an individual has to do is give a list of assets and to whom one would like to bequeath them to. This DIY service comes at an affordable cost of Rs 4,000 plus taxes with a guarantee of confidentiality of information.
