NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Shemrock Senior Secondary School Mohali organized TECHNO MINDS an Annual Inter School Competition today for classes 8, 9, 10th,( Group C,B,A) where around 18 schools of tricity participated and three teams from each participating school took part in the competition. Wireless Technology, Android Technology, Artificial Intelligence were Topics for 8th, 9th and 10th respectively. To present their topics students used power projector. This competition continued for three hours and students presented their topics in best possible way that even it was difficult for judges to select the winners.
The students were judged by the Judges on the basis of Presentation (Slides and Contents) and presenting skills i.e. confidence, understanding of topic and time duration. Anshul sharma and Ishika Gupta of Lawrence Public School stood first,whereas Jasleen Kaur, Gurkirat Singh of Sacred Souls were Second & Ridhima and Ruchi of Shivalik Public School got third position in Group C. Gokul, Harmanpreet of Smart Wonder stood first , Chaitanya, Ishpreet of AKSIPS 41 were Second Sukhpreet SIngh, Eikmeer of Shemrock School got third position in Group B . Jashanpreet kaur, Amneet kaur of Sacred Souls secured the first position Bismeet Singh, Siddharth of Shemrock School got second position Pragati, Harminder Kaur of St. Soldier School were third in Group A.
While distributing the prizes Director Education of school , S.K Sharma said that these ‘techno mind competitions’ enhance the feeling of competition in students minds, besides, this make student competent to confront struggle in the life with hard work and enthusiasm .He further added that students also get opportunity to know new techniques. In the end A.S. Bajwa, chairman, of shemrock school distributed the prizes to the winners and also congratulated them on their achievement.
