NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : The deserving young talents of Oakridge International School were bestowed with the responsibility of leading the school. The student council was selected through a formal process. Candidates with no disciplinary case were short listed. Further, the shortlisted candidates had series of interviews session with a panel of judges including the School Principal, Ramanjit Ghuman. There was e-Voting done by students and at last various aspects were considered and student council was selected.
The piping ceremony was conducted by Principal Ghuman . The elected student council took a pledge of keeping up with the school’s motto and of becoming a strong bridge between the student and the faculty. The investiture is a step towards achieving the school’s mission of developing responsible and innovative students. Manohar Singh was elected as Headboy whereas Gurvi Kaur was elected as Head girl. Kashish & Saksham were elected Sports Captain & Activity Captain respectively.
