Joseph Gordon-Levitt is recognizable thanks to his extensive filmography, which features a wide variety of characters that are all portrayed with conviction. Gordon-Levitt has made a name for himself in Hollywood, one that should be taken seriously, 
whether it is as Officer John Blake in “The Dark Knight Rises,” Robert Todd Lincoln, the older son of Abraham Lincoln, in “Lincoln,” NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden in “Snowden,” Arthur in “Inception,” Adam in “50/50,” or Tom Hansen in “500 Days of Summer.” These are his next films and television series.
1. Paradise Records (TBA)
“Paradise Records,” written and directed by Logic, follows a record store owner and his quirky employees as they battle to keep their cherished establishment from permanently closing. Levitt, Phil LaMarr, Bobby Lee, Jason Mewes, Diedrich Bader, Ron Perlman, Kevin Smith, Nolan North, Kevin Corrigan, and David Krumholtz are among the cast members. Although the film made its debut at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival, a nationwide release date has not yet been set. The trailer is available here.
2. Pendulum (TBA)
“Pendulum,” a mystery thriller directed by Mark Heyman, will be starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The movie, which is based on Heyman’s story, will focus on Patrick (Gordon-Levitt) and Abigail, a young couple who travel to a New Mexico new-age retreat in the hopes of recovering from a traumatic experience. Patrick will go to any lengths to support his wife. But as Abigail begins to succumb to her charms, he grows suspicious of the retreat’s mysterious leader. 
The couple must determine whether the retreat’s unusual spiritual practices provide true healing or conceal a horrifying truth that will eventually consume them both as their paranoia grows. Norman Reedus, Phoebe Dynevor, and Jacki Weaver are also part of the cast. “Pendulum” is currently being filmed and is awaiting a release date.
3. Seductive Poison (TBA)

Anne Sewitsky is the director of the upcoming thriller “Seductive Poison,” also known as “White Night.” The Jonestown Massacre is explored in the movie. The story, which was adapted for the screen by William Wheeler, is based on Deborah Layton’s memoir “Seductive Poison.” It tells the terrifying story of the People’s Temple cult and its charismatic leader, Jim Jones, who oversaw the most mass murder-suicides in history, killing over 900 people. Jim Jones is portrayed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The cast also includes Chloë Grace Moretz. The pre-production phase of the movie is presently underway.
