Some may not know, Keira Knightley was Elizabeth Bennet in ‘Pride & Prejudice’ (2005). In the movie, Knightley shows her strong skill. Elizabeth Bennet is one of her key roles. But to some, she is more known as Elizabeth Swann from ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. We see her wide skill range in these films. It grows as time goes by. Look at ‘Domino,’ ‘Atonement,’ ‘The Duchess,’ ‘Last Night,’ ‘A Dangerous Method,’ ‘Begin Again,’ ‘The Imitation Game,’ ‘Official Secrets,’ & ‘Boston Strangler.’ The parts Knightley plays speak to her gift. But the fact is, we can’t get enough of her. Here are her next big tasks.

1. The Woman in Cabin 10 (October 10, 2025)

Knightley will act in a new Netflix show named ‘The Woman in Cabin 10.’ The thrill film is from Ruth Ware’s top-sell book. It’s about a news girl who sees a guest thrown into the sea on a rich ship at night. But, she is told it did not take place as all on the ship are seen. No one trusts her, yet she keeps on the hunt for clues & puts her own life at risk. With Knightley, the cast has Guy Pearce, David Ajala, Hannah Waddingham, Art Malik, David Morrissey, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Gitte Witt, Daniel Ings, Christopher Rygh, Kaya Scodelario, Paul Kaye, & Lisa Loven Kongsli. Simon Stone leads the show from a script he made with Joe Shrapnel & Anna Waterhouse. ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ is now being made & will come out on October 10, 2025.

2. Black Doves Season 2 (TBA)

Netflix has brought back the hit show ‘Black Doves’ for more thrills. Joe Barton, its maker, will still write it. Alex Gabassi & Lisa Gunning are back to guide the show. It first hit screens on December 5, 2024. It stars Knightley, Ben Whishaw, Sarah Lancashire, & Andrew Koji in key roles. Knightley is Helen Webb, a sharp & real wife to the UK’s Defence Sec. She lives a hidden, dual life as a spy.

Given the rise in power of Helen’s man, Wallace, she will hold more top state hints in the next run. In the next show, her sharp tricks with Sam on the Clark mob will for sure have some kick-back. Plus, this will get some air time too. Other than Knightley as Helen, Whishaw as Sam Young, & Lancashire as Reed, the team most apt to be back will have Andrew Buchan as Wallace Webb, Omari Douglas as Michael, Kathryn Hunter as Lenny Lines, Ella Lily Hyland as Williams, Gabrielle Creevy as Eleanor, Luther Ford as Hector, & Nathan Stewart-Jarrett as Zack.
