Kit Harington : You might recognize him as Jon Snow on ‘Game of Thrones.’ You might recognize him as Dane Whitman, aka Black Knight, in Marvel Studios‘ ‘Eternals.’ Children might recognize him as the voice of Eret, formerly the bad guy and currently the trusted ally of Hiccup, the hero in the computer-animated ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ films.

Eret appears in ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ and ‘How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.’ He has also worked in the series ‘Criminal: UK,’ ‘Extrapolations,’ ‘Industry,’ and ‘Modern Love.’ When it comes to films, ‘Testament of Youth,’ ‘Pompeii,’ ‘Gunpowder,’ ‘7 Days in Hell,’ and ‘Brimstone’ are some of his popular works. The following are Kit Harington’s current works.
1. The Family Plan 2 (April 10, 2026)
Harington has been hired for Apple Original Films’ sequel ‘The Family Plan 2’ to the action comedy film ‘The Family Plan.’

He will feature alongside Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, and Van Crosby, the latter four repeating their respective roles as members of the Morgan family. Simon Cellan Jones will helm the dark sequel to the story by David Coggeshall, both of whom collaborated on the original. The script is being kept under wraps, but it’s said to take place at Christmas in Europe. Post-production is underway, and the film will debut on April 10, 2026.
2. Industry Season 4 (2026)
The HBO/BBC business drama series ‘Industry’ has been renewed for a fourth season. Filming will begin in Cardiff, Wales, in the spring of 2025. Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, who created the show, will continue to lead the writers. In light of how the third season ends, with an emotionally shattered Rishi Ramdani who loses his wife, Eric’s London office closed, Yasmin set to marry Henry, and Robert presenting his startup to another company, the fourth season’s cast will feature Harington as Henry Muck.

Ken Leung as Eric Tao, Myha’la Herrold as Harper Stern, Sagar Radia as Rishi Ramdani, Marisa Abela as Yasmin Kara-Hanani, Harry Lawtey as Robert Spearing, and Ben Lloyd-Hughes as Greg Grayson. Miriam Petche will also be a part of the cast as Sweetpea Golightly, Irfan Shamji as Anraj Chabra, and Asim Chaudhry as Vinay Sarkar. There is no release date specified for Season 4, although we may be certain it will be released sometime in 2026.
3. Eternal Return (TBA)
‘Eternal Return’ is a romantic film written and directed by Yaniv Raz. The narrative tracks Cass, a young woman, whom we witness achieve her moment of emotional invulnerability.

This is when Virgil, a cartographer, and his companion Malcolm, a Renaissance man, chooses to assist her in getting back the significance of her life and restoring her faith in love by going back in time, courtesy of Virgil’s ability to map imaginary locations. The movie features Naomi Scott as Cass, Harington as Virgil, and Simon Callow as Malcolm. Other cast members include Sonoya Mizuno, Jay Lycurgo, and Nathan Hall. In its post-production phase as of now, ‘Eternal Return’ is going to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sep 8, 2025, and be released in Argentina on December 4, 2025. A US release date is pending.
4. The Dreadful (TBA)
Harington will also be joined by his ‘Game of Thrones’ co-star Sophie Turner in the gothic horror film ‘The Dreadful,’ which is in post-production. The other cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Laurence O’Fuarain, and Jonathan Howard. Natasha Kermani has written and directed the film, which takes place against the War of the Roses (a series of civil wars for the throne of England fought between 1455 and 1487).

The film traces the life of Anne (Turner) and her mother-in-law, Morwen (Harden), who lead a reclusive, tough existence on the fringes of society. A man named Jago (Harington) appears from their past and initiates a chain of events that turns out to be a milestone in Anne’s life. News about the release of this interesting venture is expected.
5. Chariot (TBA)
Harington will be joined by Billy Magnussen in Steve Pink’s horse racing comedy film ‘Chariot.’ The screenplay, directed by Jack Donnelly,

revolves around Paul Rovia, a gigantic jockey who is responsible for a serious racing accident that gets him banned from the sport for two years. In a bid to ride in the Grand National once again, Paul partners with Kate O’Leary and her crazy Centaur named Chariot. Paul and Chariot collide initially but go on to develop an indestructible bond, revolutionizing the world of racing. No other cast member is announced so far.
