Let’s make the campaign against drugs a success with joint efforts: Harinder Singh Dhaliwal: The “Nasha Mukti Yatra” program is continuing in Barnala district under the “War on Drugs” campaign, under which awareness gatherings were held in ward numbers 19, 20, 22 and 23 of village Farwahi and Barnala city.
Speaking on the occasion, Halqa Incharge S. Harinder Singh Dhaliwal said that the government has started this campaign to take the youth of Punjab out of the swamp of drugs and take them towards a new dawn, in which the message is being given by going from village to village that let’s all work together and eradicate drugs from the root. He said that this campaign is not of the government alone but of every conscious person. He said that while the Punjab government is completely eradicating drugs from the state by taking strict action against drug smugglers, it is also helping the youth trapped in the grip of drugs. It is also making efforts to get them off drugs and put them back on their feet.
He said that the Punjab government has issued a WhatsApp number 97791-00200, on which information about drug smugglers can be given, the identity of the informer will be kept confidential.
On this occasion, he appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and play an active role in freeing the society from this evil. On this occasion, he made all the attendees pledge to unite and support the government to eradicate drugs.
